I was sitting on the bus on my way home after work when suddenly I heard two ladies who were sitting behind me at the back of the bus start to gossip about a girl who had just got on the bus. They were older than her and their tasteless comments were directed towards the younger girl’s youthful appearance, with the conversation focusing on how she will not look the same when she gets older. There is obviously nothing wrong with a little jealousy every once in a while, even I find myself every once in a while glaring at my younger counterparts in the gym who can get by on mediocre (yes I am being catty) 30 minute workouts and get great results while I can no longer have dessert without my body saying ‘You sure about that’.
